The Change Password menu option lets you change your password without logging out of Clinician.
To change your password:
Select Admin, Change Password from the Main menu. The Change Password page appears.
In the Old Password field, type your old password (the one you used to log in) and press Tab on your keyboard.
In the New Password field, type a new password and press Tab.
Your password must be at least seven (7) characters long and two (2) characters must be numeric. |
An example of a valid password is meduser_04,
since it is at least 7 characters long and it has two numeric characters.
Also, make sure your password is something that is easy for you to
remember, but difficult for others to figure out. Names of children, pets,
spouses and other family members do not make good passwords; neither do
components of your address, or birth dates. You cannot reuse an old password.
In the Confirm New Password field, type your new password again, exactly as you typed it before. This is to make sure you typed it exactly right the first time. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.
Press Enter, or click Change Password.
If you entered the correct Old Password but the password you entered in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields do not match, this message appears:
If your old password is correctly entered and the new passwords match, the Clinician Home page appears.
