The Identifiers tab is used to store and maintain patient identifiers.
Clinician allows users to assign one or more identifiers to a patient record in order to track the patient. For instance, one facility may use Medical Record Numbers (MRNs) to keep track of its patients while another facility may use Patient Identification Numbers (PIDs) for the same purpose.
From the Patient Identifiers screen users can:
Print a list of patient identifiers by clicking the Print List button.
Delete an identifier by selecting the identifier and clicking the Delete button.
View detailed information on an identifier by clicking the Details button.
Create a new identifier by clicking the Create New button.
