To Select a Guarantor

The Patient Chart screen lists all guarantors associated with a patient. The guarantor is the person ultimately responsible for payment of any medical expenses not covered by the patient's health care plan.  A patient can have one or more guarantors.

Adding/Modifying Guarantor Information

To add a guarantor to a patient record, using the Patient Chart menu option, find the patient, and when the Patient Chart appears with the Patient tab active (as shown on the illustration), click the New Guarantor button to create a new guarantor record for the patient.

• To modify guarantor information, select the guarantor you wish to modify by clicking on the hyper linked guarantor name and when the Guarantor page opens update the data. When finished, click Save to save the record.
 
 

• To return to the Patient Chart screen click Return to Patient.
